The problem with the simplified thinking that if you were / are faithful to God he will heal you has implications that don't necessarily fit the biblical model of forgiveness and healing as a Christian. You will find forgiveness by taking your sins to God the (Eph 1:7 :: In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace) and we find healing through his church (James 5:16 :: Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed)
